The activities provided are designed for educators, families, and children to explore how to make everyday moments educational and fun, fostering a lifelong love for science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

STEM can enliven your classroom or play area by allowing your students to promote curiosity, risk-taking and creativity, and to promote a sense of belonging. We want to inspire and delight all children and young people through everyday STEM, gender inclusive language and activities, and raising awareness about who does, uses, and creates STEM.

The STEMeez website contains a range of activities. These include podcasts, videos, games, activities, and storybooks designed to make STEM teaching and learning fun and engaging. Many of our activities are aligned to the Australian Curriculum or the Early Years Learning Framework.

A sample of our resources is available for download here.

An email template for educators to send to parents is available for download here.

GenAI readiness and implementation modules

The Digital Technologies Hub is a third party website that provides resources to help teachers, students and families learn about Digital Technologies. They have developed two modules in collaboration with Microsoft to equip teachers with the knowledge and skills to use GenAI effectively in the classroom, enabling them to enhance their own digital literacy and help build digital literacy skills in their students when using GenAI tools such as Copilot. By building teacher readiness and providing practical strategies, this course supports educators in preparing students for appropriate use of AI in learning and everyday life.

You can access these modules from their website.

The STEMeez Website takes data security and CyberSafety very seriously and has developed this website in consultation with CyberSecurity experts. For more information on how you can help protect yourself and your students online, we recommend visiting The eSafety schools’ hub | eSafety Commissioner.

Unlock the Power of STEM Learning with STEMeez

STEMEEZ encourages educators to support children to do STEM and learn something new. The STEMeez website can be done in your classroom or around the home, at the supermarket, or at the playground. As part of this website, we have undertaken research codesigned with parents, educators and children underpinning everyday STEM practices, values, gender awareness and inclusivity.

Our empirically-grounded conceptual framework underpins the design and development of STEMeez resources. Guided by such a framework, educators can engage children in STEM core values and practices, and purposefully designed gender-inclusive activities. Thus fostering inclusive and equitable STEM participation for all children from a very young age.
